Forbo, the world's leading linoleum company, presented three new colour variants for its furniture linoleum, all three elegant and timeless, at the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2023. The surfaces, supplied in rolls, are already available from Ostermann and can be obtained either by the metre, cut to the millimetre to size or in the form of ready-to-fit elements.

Earth-coloured nuances

The three new earth-coloured nuances, named Clay, Walnut and Leather, can be perfectly combined with each other and, once again, stand for long-lasting furniture and thus ideal for sustainable interior design. Ostermann already has the new Forbo furniture linoleum colours in stock and supplies them as required either in roll form, starting at 1 metre, cut to size or as doors or ready-to-fit elements. New colours, new possibilities

The three earth-coloured shades in natural brown tones have been designed by Forbo to combine elegantly with all natural materials in a classic environment.
The result is three refined creations with a remarkable matt appearance. When combined together, tone in tone, the new surfaces bring nature into the home and generate a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Alternatively, individual earth-coloured furniture linoleum elements combine well with all furniture in opaque solid colours, e.g. dark blue, burgundy or green.

Linoleum for furniture is sustainable, beautiful and easy to work with. It is a sustainable surface: the material is made from renewable raw materials. Its matt appearance and soft touch give it an aesthetic appeal. Flexible and antistatic, furniture linoleum is also easy to work with and is suitable for both horizontal and vertical applications.

Recommendations from Ostermann for use

To glue the linoleum surface, the Ostermann experts recommend using Redocol Kombicoll Super-N D3 vinyl glue. One option is to press the linoleum onto multiplex boards. For those who prefer a chipboard as a substrate, multiplex veneer edging is an excellent alternative to create a high-quality effect. If the edging is to be the same colour as the panel, matching ABS edgings in the same colour as the linoleum can also be found in the Ostermann Online Shop.
