Design Eden: an immersive experience
In 2024, the CIFF Shanghai Design Pavilion (Halls 4.1 and 5.1), renamed “Design Eden - Contemporary Design Trade Fair” will see a major strategic change that aims to respond to the challenges and opportunities of the industry to adapt to the changing market landscape. Design and business will be integrated with each other, promoting a shared future in which brands, designers, sales channels, media and other users all combine to form a connected network.
The new Design Eden will focus on themes such as “Link Life,” “Link Individuality,” “Link Innovation,” and “Link Ecology,” offering an immersive and engaging experience for all attendees.
Among the many scheduled events will be “Lifestyle Trend Showcases,” immersive settings created by participating companies; “A View of Tea Classics,” a platform dedicated to tea, inspired by modern oriental lifestyles that combines furniture, utensils and products for tea preparation and tasting; or the “Creative Design Showcase,” curated by designer Zhu Xiaojie's team; and “Siza Theme Exhibition,” a tribute to Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza.
