Present for the first time at SICAM, Falmec shared the booth with Friulana Accessori, a manufacturer of accessories and technical kitchen items, acquired 100% in 2022.
Centerpiece of the booth was a kitchen island with Brooklyn, the modular system, designed by Francesco Lucchese, which integrates extraction into an overhead bridge structure, optimizing the available space. Composed of a hood module and storage modules, both in satin black aluminum and smoked glass, Brooklyn can be enhanced with practical accessories such as a glass holder or a paper towel holder. It was recently selected for the Adi Design Index 2025.
Brooklyn together with Shelf, a true extractor shelf, represent the Elements collection that reinterprets the traditional concept of extraction, integrating it into furnishing elements that create a modular and multifunctional architecture perfectly integrated into the kitchen project.
Innovative solutions in the field of extraction
Another innovative solution from Falmec in the field of extraction is the new Level One, the downdraft hood with a motorized raise/lower system that combines extraction and induction cooking in a single product.
The company also brought to SICAM the built-in hood Virgola No-Drop Touch, one of the models most appreciated by both the Italian and international markets, and Brera Matt, an extraction system integrated into the cooktop characterized by a monochromatic scratch‑resistant matte black vitroceramic surface, which combines cooking zones and a flap system for smoke extraction.
Customizable furnishing accessories
The shared participation with Friulana Accessori, a partner in adding finishing details to Falmec’s kitchen furnishings, demonstrated how the two brands can share complementary skills and experiences.
Among Friulana Accessori’s flagship products at the booth was Modular, the furnishing system for under‑wall‑cabinet space. Fully customizable, the Modular system adapts to every need and, thanks to the practical shelf profile, allows new accessories to be added in a simple and immediate way.
