- kitchen hoods
The kitchen environment is changing, increasingly prioritizing sociable aspects and merging with the living area. Open-plan layouts and island kitchens have become in recent years the most appreciated and on-trend solutions in interior design because they offer greater compositional freedom. To meet new design needs and the different furniture configurations, Mares Group adds three new solutions to the range of aira plasma filters® Quadro designed for cooktops with integrated hoods or downdraft models.
aira® plasma filters: technology for air purification
The aira plasma filters® are equipped with a technology that not only traps odors, but also purifies the air by eliminating up to 99% of germs, bacteria and pollen present in the home environment. There is no mechanical filtration of odors, but a molecular transformation from polluted air to clean air.
Their maintenance is also simple: in fact, unlike traditional carbon filters, which generally need to be replaced every three months, i aira plasma filters® are guaranteed for 5 years with a lifespan of over 10 years and regenerate themselves automatically.
All aira plasma filters® are Made in Germany and VDE certified according to European standards, OLFASENSE for odor elimination level and IUTA for zero ozone emissions.

aira® Quadro Silent, 800 Slim and Soft: three plasma filters for the kitchen
The new range of aira plasma filters® Quadro now includes three new solutions: aira® Quadro Silent, aira® Quadro 800 Slim and aira® Quadro Soft.
Designed to improve acoustic comfort in the kitchen, the aira plasma filter® Quadro Silent reduces noise from air flow through the outlet ducting by up to 2 dB. Suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation, it is available in 2 versions: aira® Quadro 800 Silent and aira® Quadro L750 Silent.
The aira® Quadro 800 Slim plasma filter (in the photo) is designed for next‑generation kitchens with lower toe kicks and a thickness of only 5.8 cm. It can be installed both horizontally and vertically, without compromising the depth of the drawers located under the extraction cooktop. The filter is suitable for aspirating cooktops or downdraft models, for hoods with any motor, although it works best with motors with a net flow rate of up to 800 m3/h.

If the kitchen layout does not provide sufficient space, aira® Quadro Soft allows the installation of the filter without air ducting, offering greater flexibility during design and installation.
Thanks to the combination of performance, installation flexibility, compact dimensions and maintenance‑free operation, the new aira® Quadro range represents an advanced solution for contemporary kitchens.
