- Multilaminar veneers
Many new products were presented again this year by Alpi, a company of excellence in the production of decorative wood composite surfaces, at Milan Design Week 2025. At the Salone del Mobile.Milano and in its showroom in Via Solferino, Alpi offered a rich array of new proposals born from the collaboration with international and Italian designers.

IMO-MED Certified ALPIlignum Collection
Alpi not only stands for aesthetically and functionally innovative surfaces, but also for a guarantee of a certified and eco-responsible product.
A very important novelty concerns the entire ALPIlignum Collection, which is already FSC® 100% certified (FSC-C004666): as of this year, in fact, it is available with IMO-MED certification, a European Union directive concerning the compliance of maritime equipment in terms of naval safety.
In terms of flame resistance requirements, the ALPIlignum Collection has achieved fire behavior that classifies it as Bs1d0, giving it a new level of safety and compliance with design requirements.
Versatility and design capabilities
At the Salone, the Alpi stand presented the new 2025 novelties through scenographic wings and curved walls, a space designed by Piero Lissoni to enhance the versatility and design capabilities of Alpi wood: the Agreste collection designed by Estúdio Campana, the Kasumi collection, the result of the collaboration with the Japanese studio nendo, and the two new collections Alpi String and Alpi Warp signed by Piero Lissoni. Closing the 2025 novelties is Alpi Sottsass Pink wood, developed by Alpi's R&D department from the original annotations preserved in the company's archives.

Rustic Alps Collection
Inspired by the evocative landscapes of Brazil's Caatinga region, Estúdio Campana's Agreste collection features a texture reminiscent of the surface of arid soil, evoking tactile and visual suggestions. Available in Ouro and Prata versions, Alpi Agreste celebrates the philosophy of upcycling, recovering and reinterpreting materials destined for production waste by giving them a new life and aesthetic value.

Alps Kasumi and Futae Collections
The first collaboration with Japanese studio nendo resulted in Alpi Kasumi and Alpi Futae, which embody the essence of Japanese design: minimal, sophisticated, and attentive to detail.
The Kasumi collection, declined in Grey and Blue color variants, features soft shades generated by an innovative process of overlapping two veneer colors. Alpi Futae, available in White and Grey, combines different dimensional scales of grain that recall the textures of bark and rocks.

Alpi String and Warp Collections
Alpi String and Alpi Warp are the two new collections, designed by Piero Lissoni, inspired by the graphic signs of childhood traced on ruled and squared paper. Alpi String, available in Khaki and Blue, offers precise and delicate lines, while Alpi Warp, in Burgundy and Frosty Grey, explores a dynamic grid that gives rhythm and depth to interiors.

Alpi Sottsass Pink
Alpi Sottsass Pink wood reinterprets Ettore Sottsass's iconic pattern with bold color combinations: a pink base accentuates the blue veins, creating an unreal visual effect, typical of the distinctive language of the celebrated Italian designer.
