This year Poliuretano E', the project that promotes awareness of flexible polyurethane foam, celebrates its 20 years of activity with two events at Milan Design Week and interzum forum italy.

From April 20 to 26 it actually took part in the MoscaPartners Variations 2026 event at Palazzo Litta while from June 4 to 5 it will be present in Bergamo at interzum forum italy, the biennial exhibition dedicated to subcontracting for the furniture and interior design industry, with a particular focus on materials and technologies for the world of furniture and bedding.

Every year Poliuretano E' participates in Milan Design Week with the aim of presenting, telling and spreading the culture of flexible polyurethane foam and of making known the multiple application possibilities of this material. To celebrate its twentieth anniversary and to highlight this important milestone, Poliuretano E' has chosen a high-impact, recognizable location such as Palazzo Litta, in the heart of Milan, a choice that proved successful because it provided greater visibility, quality of contacts and positioning, strengthening the role of Poliuretano E' as an authoritative project in the landscape of contemporary materials.

For years a reference point of Milan Design Week, Palazzo Litta is one of the most frequented and strategic hubs, able to attract an international audience of professionals, media and opinion leaders; this year it was visited by over 58,000 people from around the world. Centered on the theme Metamorphosis, the MoscaPartners Variations 2026 event presented a selection of designers, creatives and companies, curated by Caterina Mosca and her team, to offer a reflection on contemporary design research, understood as an exploration of transformation, change and adaptation. Poliuretano E' interpreted the event's theme with a tactile installation Mutant Materials, conceived by Studio Giovanetti, in which flexible polyurethane foam was able to showcase its full value.

The same installation will also be on display on June 4 and 5 at the Bergamo exhibition center for interzum forum italy. As part of the Trend Stage, the intensive conference program of short, interactive smart talks featuring national and international speakers, the intervention of Marco Pelucchi, President of Poliuretano E'. is also scheduled. The talk, set for Friday, June 5, will focus on data from the Italian market for flexible polyurethane foam and on the evolution and innovation of materials to respond to a growing demand for health and sustainability.
