In the broad selection offered in the veneered edgebanding sector, the company presents another interesting new product, also showcased at SICAM 2026: the new sanded eucalyptus veneered edgeband, available in three widths and two thicknesses. Thanks to its regular, linear grain, this species is particularly suited for furniture production. Eucalyptus is also a tough, durable wood, especially sustainable due to its rapid regrowth. 

Ostermann veneered edgebands equipped with primer for easy application

The veneered edgebands supplied by Ostermann are of the highest quality and ensure safe processing. They consist, optionally, of two or four layers of real wood, each 0.5 mm thick, glued together with PVAc dispersion adhesive. To allow craftsmen and carpenters to work the edgebands immediately after installation, the surface has been pre-sanded with 180 grit, while the underside of the edgebands is equipped with primer that ensures a better bond between wood and glue, thus optimizing adhesion between the edgeband and the support panel. 

Eucalyptus edgebands: custom cutting and matching with veneers

For those who need veneered edgebands in customized widths, Ostermann offers an in-warehouse cutting service to the desired size.
