- Technological materials for furniture
A new idea of surfaces where the material evolves into a tool of expression, able to confer character, emotion and meaning to spaces through their origin, consistency, hue and sensory perception.
This is the purpose of “THE EDIT. A new material language”, one of Neolith’s most exclusive collections, presented in preview in Verona concurrently with Marmomac, at the historic Spazio di San Pietro in Monastero transformed for the occasion into a material temple.
“With ‘THE EDIT. A new material language’ - said Nieves Contreras, Chief Brand Officer of Neolith - we present a new way of understanding our surfaces: not only as high-performance materials, but as expressive codes capable of transforming architecture into an emotional experience”,

Neolith THE EDIT: five new sintered stone surfaces
Five the new sintered stone surfaces that make up the collection ‘THE EDIT. A new material language’: Pale Fossil, Glazed Opaline, Dorset Mist, Serene Emerald and Calacatta Viola. Each is associated with its own aesthetic and emotional code, linked to concepts such as serenity, strength, balance, renewal and harmony.
Pale Fossil reinterprets the elegance of a compact-looking stone, with ivory tones and fossil inlays that evoke geological time. The new Honed finish, enriched by a delicate texture, gives it a soft and polished tactility.
La superficie Glazed Opaline pays homage to the brightness of quartzite white crystallized, with delicate veining and mineral traces that give intensity and movement. Offered in the Natural Touch finish, this surface is designed to exalt the natural beauty of the material, through a skillful combination of design and digital texture.

Dorset Mist recalls a prestigious limestone in gray tones, dating back to the Upper Jurassic, traditionally associated with iconic monuments, giving contemporary projects a sense of solidity and sobriety. The new Petra finish has a matte appearance similar to that of lithic materials, capable of highlighting the natural character of the surface.
Serene Emerald presents a measured tone that invites well-being, calm and detachment from the digital world: a hue that gives places a sense of renewal and balance. Also offered in the Petra finish with a delicate digital texture, it reveals an surface with a matte appearance that enhances its material depth.

Calacatta Viola (in the opening photo) finally stands out for its refined aesthetic. The veins in Burgundy and purple tones on a light and luminous background, create a graphic intensity and a composition rich in contrasts. This new surface pays homage to the refinement of Italian marble and the classic elegance of Calacatta, evoking its expressive strength. The Natural Touch finish further enhances its beauty.
Neolith Surfaces for architecture and interior design
Taken together, the five surfaces of the new collection reinforce Neolith’s positioning in the most exclusive segment of design and architecture, offering architects and interior designers a new material language, a design tool to create environments with a strong personality.
Contributing to the development of this new language was Judith van Vliet, founder of The Color Authority and an international expert in culture and color strategies. Thanks to her contribution Neolith was able to develop an emotional reading of the material through color, texture and perception. Completing the experience, note also the contribution of Banjo Soundscapes, which conceived and produced five original musical tracks, inspired by the identity of each material, adding a new sensory dimension to the experience.
