- Technological materials for furniture
If white will be the color of 2026 according to the Pantone Color Institute, ‘Total Black’ has already conquered kitchen and bathroom environments with a monochromatic palette played out across different materials and finishes capable of creating evocative and theatrical atmospheres.
Neolith, a company specialized in the production of sintered stone surfaces, responds to this trend offering multiple variations of black: surfaces with intense tones and nuances that blend with gray, for shifting effects, able to redefine volumes and enhance the beauty of any space.
Six models, six different inspirations
Neolith Basalt Black, Nero Zimbawe, Black Obsession, Calatorao, Layla and Ignea are some of the sintered stone surfaces offered by Neolith for designing total black environments.
Inspired by basaltic stone, Neolith Basalt Black features a homogeneous design based on warm dark tones that give depth and character to any space; it is available in a Satin finish with a soft, elegant texture that is pleasant to the touch. Neolith Nero Zimbabwe evokes the iconic African granite for a surface with a strong personality, with intense matte black tones. Neolith Black Obsession is a black characterized by dense veins in bronze and gold tones that create refined surfaces, ideal for bathroom spaces.
Drawing inspiration from natural stone material, Neolith Calatorao, in an intense lead-gray color, is enriched by fine golden veins that illuminate the surface, giving an unexpectedly shifting aesthetic. Neolith Layla, on the other hand, features marbling in light and dark gray on a black background, with a particularly deep color rendering.

The surface Neolith Ignea (in the opening photo) finally alludes to volcanic landscapes in the anthracite range, enriched by contrasting shades and variations. This model has already received numerous international recognitions including the NKBA 30s Choice Awards in the United States in the Sustainability category, the Archiproducts Design Awards 2024 in the Sustainability category and the German Design Awards 2025 in the Excellent Product Design – Material and Surfaces category.
