- Technological Materials
From the collaboration between Florim and designers Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana comes the SensiTerre collection, a surface project that reinterprets the world of clays by merging artisanal tradition with technological innovation.
The world of earths and clays is re-explored, reinterpreted, enhancing the aesthetic potential of a timeless material, an extraordinary expression of Italian artisanal culture.

The allure of clay
The warm colors and textural surfaces of clay, made according to ancient processing techniques, mark the design measure of the SensiTerre collection.
The natural color palette and textural surface faithfully reproduce the different textures of clays, creating a warm and enveloping atmosphere. There are six colors: Cotton, Sand, Rosy, Brick, Amaranth and Charcoal. Four, on the other hand, are the surfaces: Natural and Grain declined in all six colors of the range, Cannettato and Rigatino only in Sand and Brown.

The Naturale surface is opaque and linked to the original materiality of clay, while Grana is inspired by cocciopesto, a building material used by the ancient Romans as a waterproofing coating for floors, both interior and exterior, and walls. Rigatino and Cannettato, on the other hand, respectively reproduce the combing and engraving techniques of the “Venere Bianca” terracotta vases designed ten years ago by Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana in collaboration with Bitossi.
All surfaces are suitable for both floor and wall use, with the exception of the Cannettato for which it is recommended to be used only on vertical walls.

Evolved and sustainable production technology
Modularity and multiple configurations of small and large formats are key elements of this collection that offers endless expressive possibilities, allowing for a unique and personal product.
The SensiTerre collection is also the result of a careful and environmentally friendly process: in fact, it is part of the CarbonZero project, with which Florim fully compensates CO₂ emissions throughout the entire product life cycle. A choice consistent with the vision of the company, since 2020 certified B Corp, which for over sixty years has combined innovation, beauty and respect for the planet.
