Guglielmi, the historic Italian company in the taps and fittings sector, presented the new CENTO taps and fittings collection on November 30 in an elegant location in Via dell'Orso in Milan, designed by Alessandro Zambelli to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Armando Guglielmi .

A tribute to the founder of Guglielmi Rubinetterie, to his vision and to those values ​​in which he believed and which are still today the basis of the Guglielmi family, a company that has always been involved in the development and creation of design products for the bathroom, shower and kitchen and outdoor spaces, equipped with innovative and environmentally friendly technologies.

 

Small architectures with marked and decisive volumes

The designer Alessandro Zambelli looked not only to the values ​​on which the company's tradition is based, but also to the artistic and cultural references of the early twentieth century, the founder's era, which certainly inspired the imagination of a visionary entrepreneur.

In fact, the CENTO taps and fittings collection tells the tension towards dynamism that characterized the artistic avant-gardes of the first decades of the twentieth century and the attraction for pure forms that inspired the rationalist experiments in architecture and design.

As the designer explains, "from a conceptual point of view, the collection follows the rule of formal decomposition which provides for the division of volumes by function. The dynamism is given by the insertion of inclined planes, giving the bodies a change of spatial perspective. The compositions recall small architectures with marked and decisive volumes, where each element finds balance in the whole".

 

CENTO, a new milestone for the company

CENTO is a collection of innovative and attractive taps and fittings, with a rigorous, refined and expressive image. It is available in single-lever and three-hole mixer versions, in PVD Brushed Pale Gold, PVD Black Nickel (Gun Metal), PVD Nickel and Matt Black finishes.

CENTO represents a new milestone for the Guglielmi company, an established reality on the world market, capable of responding to the strictest standards in terms of innovation, technologies aimed at reducing water consumption and the sustainability of materials and production processes.
