The 14th edition of Sicam, which took place in Pordenone from 17 to 20 October, ended with a success that exceeded the best expectations: around 9,000 companies, for a total of well over 20,000 attendees over the four opening days, from 112 countries from all over the world came to the fair in Pordenone to meet their best suppliers. 

There were many novelties proposed by the exhibitors in the sector of components and accessories for the furniture industry: the presence of more than 650 exhibitors from Italy and 34 other foreign countries confirmed Sicam as an important event where choices are made and trends are outlined that will characterise the next furniture season all over the world. 

In terms of exhibition space, Sicam 2023 also saw a growth compared to previous editions: this year's fair extended over 18,420 square metres of net stand space, on a gross area of 40,000 square metres, in ten pavilions. A strongly loyal fair 

As always, business meetings and high-profile trade relations characterised the exhibition. "They were confirmed as the strong point of the Sicam format," emphasised Carlo Giobbi, who took the opportunity of this edition to announce the handover of Sicam management to Carolina and Michele Giobbi. 

The Pordenone event is a complex but well-tested machine that has by now achieved a very high level of loyalty: many exhibiting companies have in fact already confirmed their participation for the next edition. An important signal that underlines the effectiveness of Sicam for its format, but also for its timing and location in the heart of the North East. 

Enjoy Pordenone: the "Fuori Salone" of Sicam 

There was a great deal of interest and curiosity surrounding the debut of "Enjoy Pordenone with Sicam", the platform desired by the city authorities to celebrate a trade fair that attracts thousands of people who were able to take part in over 90 appointments, meetings, exhibitions and initiatives in the city. 

The appointment for Sicam 2024 is set in Pordenone from Tuesday 15 to Friday 18 October.
