From November 4 to 7 at the Rimini Expo Center Ecomondo took place, the international event that is a reference point in Europe and in the Mediterranean area for the green, blue and circular economy, organized by Italian Exhibition Group.
A benchmark in the circular economy, the Saviola Group also participated this year at Ecomondo with a booth conceived as a place for dialogue where industrial innovation and environmental responsibility meet to shape a more sustainable future, in the awareness that “The future is born from today's choices”.
The Saviola Group's sustainable vocation
The participation at Ecomondo 2025 was also an opportunity for the Saviola Group to announce the increase in the tons of post-consumer wood recovered and reused as raw material for the production of the Pannello Ecologico®, a symbol of quality and design, an expression of the Group's environmental commitment. This is thanks to Savionet, the Business Unit dedicated to environmental services.
“Our presence at Ecomondo is renewed with important news,” said Alessandro Saviola, Chairman of the Group. “Savionet increasingly represents a point of reference in the sector of integrated environmental services. These results confirm the Group's sustainable vocation, which for over thirty years has operated with coherence and vision in the panorama of the green economy.”

Recycling capacity on the rise
Savionet which in recent years has consolidated its presence across the national and European territory, now counts 39 companies and 44 collection sites, with a recovery capacity reaching 1.65 million tons of post-consumer wood (+10%), supported by over 130 operating machines.
In addition to the collection and management of post-consumer wood, Savionet offers a complete range of environmental services: from the collection of clippings, pruning and green waste to the cleaning of river areas, beaches and forests; from the management of municipal solid waste and sludge to the brokerage and disposal of plastic waste, hazardous and non-hazardous. These are complemented by a range of products such as biofilters, compost, machinery, pellets, lime, RDF and solutions for energy production from biomass.

Post-consumer wood: a precious resource
The Saviola Group, with its presence at Ecomondo, also wanted to convey how post-consumer wood is not waste but a precious resource and that recycling, through Savionet, represents the beating heart of the Group: it is precisely through material regeneration that value is created and the environment is protected.
