Miele, a world-leading company in the supply of premium appliances, wins no fewer than 19 awards at the iF Design Award 2026, including two golds awarded to the outdoor kitchen “Dreams” and the freestanding KFFD 6867 fridge-freezer. The international jury, made up of 129 design experts, recognized in both products the combination of timeless design, high-quality materials, intuitive operation and constant user focus. Awards even more significant given that out of over 10,000 entries worldwide, this year only 75 received gold.
Janina Forberger, head of design at Miele said that “a total of 19 awards, including two golds, underline the high quality of Miele's design and recognize the close collaboration between the design and development teams, which translate technological expertise, creative strength and customer focus into internationally awarded products.”
Design, materials and cutting-edge technology
With the outdoor kitchen “Dreams” (in the opening photo), Miele brings its many years of experience to the outdoor kitchen sector for the first time. The collection is characterized by high-quality materials, timeless design and advanced technology.
The KFFD 6867 fridge-freezer combines the iconic gull-wing door design, high-quality glass surfaces and a spacious internal architecture with innovative freshness systems such as PerfectFresh Active.

High-quality appliances
In addition to the two gold-awarded products, Miele received other recognitions in the Kitchen segment: the FrenchDoor refrigerators, the MattFinish and DiamondFinish cooktops and the networked cooking system M Sense. These appliances were praised for their precise controls, high-quality materials and coherent design. The Pearl Beige color line was awarded for the combination of design, materials and impact in the kitchen environment. An important recognition also went to the set with the Gourmet box as a multifunctional accessory that helps to cook, store and organize food intelligently.
Also from the “Dreams” appliances line, in addition to the outdoor kitchen, the Fire Pro IQ gas grill and the range of accessories were also awarded: here too the jury highlighted the design, materials and intelligent technology.
