- Mineral materials
Cosentino, the Spanish Group specialized in the production of innovative surfaces for architecture and design, presented itself at Milan Design Week 2026 with an intense program of activations, product news and outstanding collaborations. The undisputed protagonist was Ēclos®, the new mineral surface developed with Inlayr technology®, characterized by a three-dimensional design integrated throughout the mass, absence of crystalline silica and a high recycled material content.
Ēclos®, the new “inlayered” mineral surface
With Ēclos® Cosentino introduces a new category of surfaces, the "Inlayered Mineral Surface", based on the innovative Inlayr design technology®. This layered system, through advanced robotics and integrated decoration techniques, creates a three-dimensional design that runs through the entire thickness of the slab. Unlike surface decorations, Ēclos® achieves a level of depth, realism and tactile naturalness that redefines the expressive possibilities of mineral surfaces. Furthermore, thanks to Inlayr technology®, Éclos® guarantees superior thermal resistance, up to 220ºC, making it an ideal solution for kitchen countertops and other high-performance indoor applications. Free of crystalline silica and up to 90% recycled material, Éclos® also represents an innovation in the composition of mineral surfaces, demonstrating Cosentino's commitment to safety and sustainability.

Axis, a collection of tables made with Ēclos®
At Fuorisalone, the exceptional context for the debut of Ēclos® was Casa Manzoni, where Cosentino presented Axis, an immersive installation conceived in collaboration with Tom Dixon to explore the meeting of design, material innovation and spatial expression. Axis is also the name of the collection of tables with Ēclos® tops, also signed by Dixon in collaboration with Actiu. The Axis concept, based on the idea of intersection, materializes in a new collection of tables that combine crossed-leg geometries, precision engineering and the integration of Ēclos surfaces®.

Ēclos® at the Cosentino booth
Cosentino's exhibition space within the Salone del Mobile also showcased the versatility of the products across every sector: from kitchen countertops to furnishings, from cladding to façades, and through to bathroom spaces. The focus was, once again, on the new surface Ēclos®, with the colors of its first collection, Eclectic Veins, presented in various applications. The Tajnar, Wondr, Phantome and Legnd designs clad the booth alongside the new Dekton® proposals: Amazonik, Nomak and the forthcoming Artik Nodes.
Furthermore, thanks to the collaboration with designer and architect Daniel Germani for Carimali design water_space, a striking bathroom environment was set up at the booth where the Legnd design in Ēclos® took center stage for the cladding and the sink.
