On the occasion of the Milan‑Cortina 2026 Winter Games Gruppo Saviola contributed to sustainably furnishing the Alta Valtellina lodgings in the reception areas of Bormio, Livigno, San Rocco and Trepalle (province of Sondrio), intended for healthcare personnel.
Taking part in an extraordinary event such as the Milan‑Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics is an opportunity to show the world our country’s ability to combine tradition and innovation, vision and hospitality. For Gruppo Saviola it is also a chance to bring into this context the model of circular economy that has always characterized its entrepreneurial philosophy.

Sustainable furnishings with a circular approach
The furnishings made with Pannello Ecologico®, produced 100% from recycled wood and entirely Made in Italy, following the principles of sustainable architecture, were designed to be reused after the Games, in a circular approach that extends the life of the installations, reduces waste and maximizes the value of the resources used. Moreover, this project also made it possible to save 103 trees, a concrete result that testifies to the environmental commitment of the companies involved in this initiative.
Winning synergy between Gruppo Saviola and Missaglia
The furnishing of the living spaces is the result of the collaboration between Gruppo Saviola and the company Missaglia Srl of Lissone (MB), responsible for the development, design and installation of the spaces. Thanks to the synergy between Saviola and Missaglia, welcoming, functional and detail‑oriented environments were created, designed to offer a typically Italian comfort experience.
The project was then carried out by the furniture manufacturer S75 Spa, using Saviola decoratives. Premium finishes inspired by high‑altitude woods were chosen, giving the interiors a modern, natural and warm aesthetic.

Sustainability creates value, innovation and beauty
Alessandro Saviola, President of Gruppo Saviola, commented: “Being part of the Milan‑Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics represents for us not only a pride, but also a responsibility. We bring to Alta Valtellina a model of circular economy and upcycling that has guided our industrial choices for over 30 years. Knowing that even after the Olympics there will remain spaces made with sustainable materials and of high Italian quality gives us great satisfaction. This collaboration shows that sustainability is increasingly a competitive advantage: an opportunity to create value, innovation and beauty.”
