MoodUP ™ is the new refrigerator from LG Electronics (LG) equipped with innovative doors with LED panels that change color and integrated Bluetooth speaker for the diffusion of music by connecting to a smartphone, tablet or PC.

LG's latest proposal, presented at IFA 2022 in Berlin, is a further example of the company's ability to respond and create new trends in the home appliance sector.

 

New possibilities for designers

In fact, the innovative MoodUP refrigerator is not only equipped with LG's advanced refrigeration system and intelligent technologies for better food preservation, but also allows users to choose a wide range of bright colors for its LED doors and to reproduce music, via integrated Bluetooth speaker, according to your tastes and moods. With LED door panels, LG's MoodUP refrigerator offers more interior design flexibility and a new way to create an integrated and stylish kitchen.

 

Colored and customizable panels

Through the LG ThinQ ™ app, you can choose between 22 colors for the upper door panel and 19 colors for the lower one. Not only that, it is also possible to customize the appearance of the panels by selecting one of the evocative color themes including Season, Place, Mood and Pop. Using the tones and shades of nature, Season represents the different periods of the year, while Mood, for example, evokes a feeling of well-being through the use of soft and relaxing colors.

 

A refrigerator with music

LG's new refrigerator offers excellent sound via a built-in Bluetooth speaker that can be easily connected to a smartphone, tablet or laptop to choose your favorite music by matching it with the color or theme of the refrigerator. When the speaker plays audio, MoodUP's LED panels can change color in sync with the music.

 

A refrigerator with new features

The illuminated panels also allow the MoodUP fridge to offer light notifications: when the fridge door is left open for too long, the top panel flashes repeatedly to signal that it needs to be closed. On the other hand, when MoodUP's motion sensors detect that someone is approaching, both panels flash in welcome sign. When the LEDs are off, the MoodUP refrigerator features a Lux Gray and Lux ​​White coloring for a more traditional look in the kitchen that blends in with any decor.

The MoodUP refrigerator is also equipped with the On-Device AI chip for smart appliances that allows you to improve and extend the user experience with features such as enhanced voice recognition and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
