Returns to Bergamo on June 4 and 5, 2026 interzum forum italy, the event organized by Koelnmesse Italia, dedicated to the furniture supply chain. After its 2024 debut, this second edition consolidates a smart format, focused into two days, designed to ensure efficiency, quality of relationships and high value‑added content.
The choice to maintain a smart formula comes directly from the needs expressed by companies: an “easy” format designed to promote targeted meetings thanks to a structured matchmaking program and to allow exhibitors and visitors to better plan their attendance.
A supply chain looking to the future
The three macro-sectors, Function & Components, Materials & Nature and Textile & Machinery, show a supply chain in full transformation: components are evolving towards increasingly integrated and high-performing systems, surfaces are taking a central role both in design and production terms, while the textile sector and technologies are redefining the relationship between aesthetics, functionality and the digitalization of processes.
The payoff “Beyond the Furniture. Towards the Future” expresses this vision as an opening towards areas increasingly connected to the world of furniture, from contract to camper design, from nautical to transportation design, where design languages and technical solutions converge in scenarios with a high degree of innovation.

Trend Stage: dialogue between companies, designers and planners
At the center of the event and its distinctive feature is the Trend Stage, structured into 30-minute smart talks built from dialogue with exhibitors and companies, with a focus on interior design, kitchen systems, bedding, upholstered furniture, the regulatory framework on ecodesign and the evolution of materials.
Among the most relevant novelties of this edition stands the collaboration with Surface in Motion Italia, an event organized by the German magazine möbelfertigung dedicated to decorative surfaces and wood-based materials, which will have an integrated Stage in the official program and will significantly strengthen the focus on the Materials & Nature section, offering highly specialized content and a structured exchange between companies, experts and decision‑makers in the sector.
For this second edition of interzum forum italy the goal is to create a qualified context to encourage dialogue between companies, designers and planners. To this end, a collaboration has been launched with the Orders of the Architects of Bergamo and Milan including thematic webinars on ecodesign, surfaces, innovative materials and sustainability, as well as dedicated thematic tours.
interzum forum italy Award: the most significant sustainable innovations
The event confirms its international role: the participation, to date, of companies from 20 countries testifies to this commitment and, thanks to its ability to attract a qualified European audience, the international dimension will be further strengthened. For many companies interzum forum italy also represents a natural and strategic step towards interzum Cologne 2027.
Moreover, the interzum forum italy Award, the recognition dedicated to the technical aspects of furniture subcontracting, will highlight the most significant sustainable innovations submitted by April 17 and awarded during the event. The prize confirms the intent to offer an early reading of the changes that are redesigning the supply chain and to support companies in facing the challenges of 2026 and beyond.
The ticketshop is already online on the event’s official site and allows you to download your free entry ticket.
