Over 230 exhibitors from 24 countries, more than 25 talks and 40 speakers at the Trend Stage and 15 keynote speakers in the spaces of Surface in Motion Italia: these are the numbers of interzum forum italy, the event organized by Koelnmesse Italia, scheduled for June 4 and 5 at Fiera di Bergamo.
Condensed into two days, the event will allow companies, designers, industrial partners and representatives of the main production districts to discuss the transformations underway in the furniture supply chain and subcontracting and the sector's future strategies.
Focus on the core of projects
interzum forum italy, a few weeks after the Salone del Mobile in Milan, offers the right context to return to discussing design and furnishings starting from the core of projects: materials, technologies, production processes, economic impact and emerging trends. Companies present at the second edition of the event include Albrecht Baeumer, Asa Plastici, Brighi Tecnologie, Boyteks, Bock, Cofemo, Gruppo Bonomi Pattini, Gruppo Grassi, Kesseboehmer Italia, Linak Italia, L&S Italia, Marcegaglia Specialities, Motion Italia, Simalfa, Stellini Textile, Ternoscorrevoli and Top Linea.

An intensive conference program
The event combines the exhibition of companies from the Function & Components, Materials & Nature, Textile & Machinery sectors with an intensive conference program of insights, case studies and contributions by national and international experts.
The topics covered embrace the whole panorama of the subcontracting and are aimed at a broad, cross-sectional audience. The focus is on project areas increasingly interconnected with the world of furnishings, ranging from contract to camper design, from nautical to transportation design.
“The definition of the program and the selection of speakers - explained Thomas Rosolia, Chief Executive Officer of Koelnmesse Italia, - are the result of joint work with the companies in the supply chain and their representatives. The topics we will address have been developed strategically, with the aim of offering concrete support to those within companies who are called upon to define a medium-term vision”.

The evolution of the furniture and contract market
At the opening of the event the interzum forum italy award 2026 will be presented, the recognition dedicated to the technical aspects of the supply chain and designed to highlight the most relevant and sustainable innovations presented by companies. An international jury is evaluating the applications and the winners will be announced on June 4 during the opening ceremony on the Trend Stage.
This will be followed by a conference on the evolution of the furniture market, the contract sector and the productive sectors affected by subcontracting: nautical and shipbuilding, campers and vans, automotive, transportation (aircraft and trains). Chaired by Edi Snaidero, President of EFIC (European Furniture Industries Confederation), speakers will include Volker Irle, Managing Director AMK (The Association of Modern Kitchen); Federica Dallanoce, President of the Italian Association of Purchasing and Supply Management (ADACI); Alessandra Tracogna, Partner and Senior Expert at CSIL; and Jӧrg Buck, Managing Director of the Italian-German Chamber of Commerce.
Complementing the exhibition areas, interzum forum italy will also host special event areas where, in collaboration with design companies, visitors can see concretely how materials, components and technologies are transformed into real furnishing solutions, through installations that show the final application of the products.
