Fuorisalone 2025 with 1066 events in the official guide, confirms, together with the Salone del Mobile.Milano, the most important international appointment for the world of design. The large number of visitors from all over the world has once again consolidated Milan's role as the capital of design, a meeting point during Design Week for all those working in the sector, as well as for furnishing enthusiasts and students.
According to Confcommercio's estimates, it generated an induced revenue of 278 million, an increase of 5.8% compared to 2024.
Interaction between design and artificial intelligence
In the various districts of the city, many designers and companies developed this year's theme, “Connected Worlds”, through participatory design, celebrating the interaction between design and increasingly present forms of artificial intelligence. The key to Fuorisalone 2025 was to weave links between various aspects of our living, between the human dimension, technology and nature: from immersive and site-specific installations to research in the field of sustainability, from the production of new materials to visions of living in the future, from electric mobility to contaminations between physical and digital.

Events throughout the city
As always, Fuorisalone was able to animate well-known areas of Milan, as well as lesser-known corners of the city, making them discoverable to a very diverse public: from the former public baths in the basement of the Piscina Cozzi to the evocative cloister of Sant'Angelo, from architectural gems such as Palazzo Donizetti to the Jacqueline Vodoz and Danese Foundation in Via Santa Maria Fulcorina.
Design Week was also an opportunity to enter some historical palazzos that were open to the public for the occasion: Palazzo Bovara, Palazzo Citterio, Palazzo Litta, Palazzetto Taverna Radice Fossati, Palazzo Serbelloni, Palazzo Borromeo, Palazzo Landriani, Palazzo Giureconsulti, Palazzo Visconti just to name a few.
Great protagonists of this edition were also the private houses, some of which were open by appointment only, transformed into temporary sets or manifestos of the latest trends in interior design.
