DPG1C is a practical and intuitive under-level panel that is part of the DPG series, Desk Panel Genius proposed by Linak, an international company specialized in the production and development of electric linear actuators.
Developed for controlling height-adjustable desks, the DPG1C is activated by tilting the panel in the same direction in which you want to move the desk.
DPG1C by Linak wins the prestigious international Red Dot Design Award 2018, one of the biggest and most important awards in world design in the “Product Design“ category.
Issued by the Red Dot Institute, the award is given each year to the best products and projects selected by a jury composed of forty international design experts who analyse and evaluate as many as 6,300 applications from 59 countries. Evaluation criteria include the level of innovation, functionality, ergonomics, quality and durability of the product.
And it is precisely the functionality and the attractive design that determined the success of the DPG1C panel; right from the beginning Linak wanted to focus on the DPG Desk Panel Genius series on its ease of use and design to stimulate users to make the best use of the sit-stand tables.
A product with innovative features has been created: Bluetooth® technology, four memory positions, display and reminder function via an LED light that reminds the user when to get up.
The “Red Dot Award, Product Design category“ has existed since 1955. Since then, every year a jury of 40 members has enshrined the best products faithful to the motto “in search of design and innovation.“ The nominations and the official presentation of the winners will take place at the Red Dot Gala on July 9th in Essen, Germany, home of Red Dot Design. For the occasion, the Red Dot Design Yearbook 2018/2019 will be published, in which all the award-winning products will be presented.
