Koelnmesse Italia and Collins, the organizers respectively of International Hardware Fair Italy and Buyer Point, join forces to create a unique event in the landscape of hardware and do-it-yourself in odd-numbered years. A platform capable of combining vision, skills and opportunities to offer companies privileged access to the national and international market.
Integrating expertise
This collaboration stems from the integration of complementary skills, which strengthen each other. Buyer Point, the B2B event dedicated to the “brico home & garden” market, will be held in Milan on May 27, 2026. International Hardware Fair Italy will take place in Bergamo on May 5 and 6, 2027 with the same formula as the first two editions, but will feature an integrated matchmaking area where exhibiting companies will be able to meet the majority of Italian and foreign buyers attending the event.
As Thomas Rosolia, CEO of Koelnmesse Italia, stated, “in a market characterized by a multiplicity of events and exhibitions dedicated to the hardware sector and related industries, this agreement represents a decisive step toward greater clarity and simplification of the offering. The goal is to create a single reference platform, capable of enhancing exhibitors' investments and offering visitors a more complete and representative appointment with the market.” David Giardino, CEO of Collins, added: “This collaboration highlights our respective strengths without changing the identity and structure of the two events. The agreement allows us to further strengthen our role in facilitating meetings between buyers and companies, expanding the international dimension and making the matchmaking that has always characterized our initiatives even more effective.”

Buyer Point, which will be held at the East End Studios on via Mecenate in Milan, promises to be a particularly promising edition, with a significant increase in participation requests and great attention from the main international retail groups.
With growing results and an increasingly broad international participation, International Hardware Fair Italy confirms itself, in odd-numbered years, as the event in Italy fully dedicated to the European market for hardware, construction, DIY, industrial and electrical supplies, garden & outdoor and automotive. Last year's edition (in the opening photo) saw the presence of 320 exhibitors from 22 countries and over 5,600 visitors from 53 nations, including more than 300 international buyers, resulting in over 350 B2B meetings and a rich professional program of conferences and workshops.
