Innovative lift system for bed base

TipUp is the new mechanism for container beds designed by architect Giulio Manzoni, produced and distributed by PBMEK.
The innovative system has many advantages compared to the traditional trapezium systems.
The movement of the bed base is gentle and does not require any effort. Therefore, it is convenient for anyone. “As you put it, it stays”: is the slogan that characterizes the innovative product by PBMEK. In effect, you can stop it in any position both in opening and in closing. Accidental falls of the bed base are prevented by special gas-powered springs which act as shock absorbers for a controlled and constant speed and for the safety of users. Security is respected according to the most stringent international standards and the “trap” risk is avoided.
The TipUp mechanism is suitable for the use with any type of bed base, in wood or metal, and thanks to the three possible mounting positions it allows to reduce the force of the gas-powered springs needed to the use different types of mattress.
The easy assembling allows to reduce time to a third party, and does not require tools to connect the slats to the structure of the container.
Weights and encumbrances have been minimized to obtain a considerable saving on transport costs.
