The Lapitec Chef induction cooktop: a completely hidden cooking system

Lapitec, after years of research and development, presents Lapitec Chef, a cooking system completely hidden under the sintered stone top and activated by a technological Cooking Mat, covered by a patent and developed for the electro-thermal part in collaboration with the University of Padua.  

 

Simple and safe operation


The operation of Lapitec Chef is simple: by positioning the special silicone Mat on the worktop, the touch controls are activated and the system can be switched on with two or four burners. In the absence of the Mat, on the other hand, the induction hob and the relative controls are inactive, safe and impossible to turn on unintentionally. The kitchen top therefore remains completely free: only a display and small engravings appear, revealing the full-body nature of the Lapitec material (with no digital prints on the surface).
This innovative solution not only facilitates cleaning operations, but also allows the worktop to be used for other activities, from food preparation and serving, to hosting convivial moments. Lapitec is an ideal support for both indoor and outdoor kitchens: in fact, it is a non-porous material, non-absorbent and resistant to chemicals.

 

Aesthetically refined and technologically advanced


The Lapitec Chef Cooking Mat looks like a normal silicone mat, but it is actually a real home appliance, equipped with magnetic sensors and a hidden coil. Compatible with all induction cookware and above all dishwasher safe, it also allows for bridge and childlock mode operation.
