The 57th edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, which will take place until Sunday 22nd April at Fiera Milano, Rho, opened yesterday under the sign of renewed optimism and dynamism.
A key event for the sector at an international level and showcase par excellence of creativity, innovation and quality, the event was inaugurated by the President of the Senate Maria Elisabetta Casellati, the President of the Council of Ministers Paolo Gentiloni, the President of Confindustria Vincenzo Boccia, the mayor of Milan Beppe Sala and the President of the Lombardy Region Attilio Fontana.
Five events are held in synergy, with 1,841 exhibitors at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, EuroCucina with the FTK (Technology For the Kitchen) event, the International Bath Show and 650 designers at SaloneSatellite.
The Salone Internazionale del Mobile and the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition offer numerous aesthetic itineraries, where the protagonist is the product, the result of innovation, research and quality capable of responding to the individual needs of each client.
EuroCucina and FTK (Technology For the Kitchen) confirm the extraordinary liveliness of a sector that works with great attention to technology, product quality and eco-sustainability.
A growing biennial is certainly that of the International Bathroom Exhibition that focuses on the theme of sustainable quality.
This year, SaloneSatellite welcomes 650 young talents who present their work halfway between new technologies and crafts, experimentation and memory, contamination and digital effect.
To underline the deep link with Milan from 17 to 25 April, in Piazza del Duomo, in front of the Royal Palace, the Salone offers the city the project “Living Nature. La natura dell’abitare“, developed together with the international design and innovation firm Carlo Ratti Associati (CRA).
In these days, Milan livens up with the numerous events that are part of the Fuorisalone circuit, organized this year in every corner of the city confirming the extraordinary success of the Milan Design Week and the international appeal that it has achieved and which increases year in year.
