“Space to innovate“ is the space for innovations created by ambigence, a company based in Herford, in the heart of the Eastern Westphalia furniture hub, born as a networking center for those who want to establish themselves with new ideas in the furniture industry. Ambigence objective is to encourage companies to share technical knowledge, resources and production possibilities in order to create a network able to implement ideas that often the individual company is not able to implement.“Ambigence inspires, coordinates, supports and knows the market,“ said Norbert Poppenborg, head of the company's Marketing & Business Development department.This innovative approach for the sector has seen its effectiveness with a new category of products born from the network defined “The panel is the new fitting“ in which panel and function become a unicuum, or where the furnishing element has integrated functions.The first pieces of furniture with integrated functions by ambigence such as the ViZard tilting door by Hettich and the Unico bar unit by Effegibrevetti will be exhibited at interzum 2019 at the stands of the respective companies and at the ambigence stand, in the Boulevard space. This ambigence innovation has already been awarded the German Design Award 2019 and the Iconic Award 2019 and now also competes for the Interzum Award.On May 23rd at the Speakers Corner, Norbert Poppenborg will present this new solution that disappears into the furniture and will introduce the company, its vision and the many possibilities offered by ambigence to companies.
