Interzum, international leader review for the subcontracting of the industry of furniture, it is the event of reference of the greatest sector in the world that will host in Colony from 16th to 19th May  2017 the innovations of exhibitors coming from more than 60 Countries. Over 65% of visitors and exhibitors come from foreign countries, making of interzum the most international fair of the sector.   In 2017 it is preannounced the greatest interzum, with a new record of exhibitors and a further increase of the expositive surface. There will be in fact over 1.600 exhibitors who will introduce products and services in 12 stands for a gross general surface of 180.000 square meters. The constant growth of the last years has taken a further acceleration and with over six months in advance more than 90 percent of the spaces have been already assigned. Next year 150 international and German exhibitors will participate for the first time in the review. The international exhibitors will introduce in fair a charming mix of new technologies, materials and surfaces in an extraordinary variety; they are important partners for developing new products and trends of design thanks to the innovative force and to the subcontracting turned to the whole furnishing compartment. This variety of the offer characterizes not only the materials and the most modern methods of production introduced in fair, but also trends and visions for the furnishing of future environments. Among the themes of great interest we can find for example the maintenance of the resources, the sustainability, the upcycling and the increasing digitization of the households.   The worldwide interest towards the review also reflects on the visitors: in 2015 interzum recorded a growth of the international visitors equal to 17 percent. The fact that interzum is very beloved from designers, architects, exhibitors and public it is thanks to the contemplated and well devised format. The fair is divided in three segments: “Materials & Natures“ which picks up the last trends in theme of materials, “Function & Components“ devoted to the technical components and “Textile & Machinery“ where fabrics and machineries are introduced for their processing. Every segment has a proper “Piazza“, a special expositive area devoted to the actual trends. The modernization of the fair district of Colony has involved light changes to the assignment of the stands for interzum 2017: the segment Textile & Machinery will occupy three stands 9, 10.1 and 11, the exhibitors of the segment Function & Components will be situated in four stands 4, 5, 7 and 8 and those of the segment Materials & Natures in stands 6 10.2 and 4.2. Koelnmesse offers on the one hand great space for new exhibitors and on the other hand it develops the modernization of the South of the fair district. To guarantee to exhibitors the maximum certainty of planning, this division of the stands will stay unvaried up to interzum 2021.
