- Companies: strategies and future
Index
An internationally leading industrial company, for thirty years Elleci has designed, manufactured and distributed kitchen sinks, bathroom basins and design accessories for the Kitchen and Bath sectors, combining technology, design and Italian creativity and shaping solutions conceived to improve people’s daily lives.
A company strength is responsible innovation, which means concrete environmental sustainability, respect for people, and transparent and solid financial governance. We discuss this with Mario Bruno, Sales & Marketing Director of Elleci.

Dialogo, the iconic and award-winning sink from the Élite Kitchen collection
Responsible innovation is increasingly expressed through the use of recycled and recyclable materials, green technologies or production processes capable of reducing environmental impact. How does your company respond to this now-priority issue in corporate strategies?
Environmental sustainability represents an indispensable strategic pillar for Elleci, fully integrated into an ESG approach that guides every company decision across the board. For years we have considered technological evolution inseparable from responsibility toward the environment, aware that industrial innovation must develop in harmony with reducing the impact of production processes. In this direction sits the inauguration of our second production facility: a technologically advanced structure strongly oriented toward sustainability, part of the “Road to 2030” program.
Our ecological transition plan indeed provides for the use of recycled and renewable raw materials, the use of clean energy, systems for recycling and reusing water, as well as a significant reduction in emissions and industrial waste: for each environmental pillar Elleci has defined improvement targets of at least 50%.
These initiatives are accompanied by further concrete actions: the installation of two photovoltaic systems, optimization of production processes, the introduction of innovative decarbonization technologies and the constant review of our industrial practices from a sustainability perspective.
The formalization of the results achieved and future targets is expressed each year in the Sustainability Report, a transparency tool that makes the path undertaken and the medium- to long-term strategies tangible.

How much can the new European regulatory framework on Ecodesign influence sustainable design processes?
The new European regulatory framework on Ecodesign represents a lever for further development. This regulation encourages rethinking products and processes from an even more sustainable perspective, promoting the adoption of lower-impact solutions across the product’s entire life cycle.
In this context, the Elleci Innovation Center plays a central role: engineers, designers and technicians work in synergy to transform innovative ideas into concrete and sustainable solutions, maintaining a constant dialogue with the market and end users. In this way, responsible innovation does not remain a theoretical principle but translates into real, everyday value for those who use our products.
The real challenge of sustainability for Elleci is not only achieving specific targets, but making it a structural and permanent development factor, able to orient governance and consciously guide the company's future.
