Poliuretano è represents an innovative project born with the objective to promote the many qualities of the expanded flexible polyurethane in home and furnishing sector. Every year the project Poliuretano è presents itself to the public of Fuorisalone in Milan with interesting events: this year, from 12 to 17 April in Via Tortona 12, from 10 to 20 o’clock it took place the event “Soft Design - Poliuretano è.“ Soft Design represents a new expositive format, an unpublished formula to communicate the performance qualities of the expanded flexible polyurethane and their possibilities of use. Over the generic look on the polyurethane material, Soft Design offers a particular focus on the specific materials that the leading companies of the sector offer to the industry in order to create innovative applications and to develop new functionalities. “Polyurethane - Marco Pelucchi declared, one of the responsible  people of Poliuretano è - it is the soft material par excellence which has broadly already been used in design and furnishing world. The continuous research in our sector, favoured by the collaboration with the greatest international producers of additives and components, it produced an unbelievable variety of typologies able to favour all designer demands. Each of our business has in its own catalog over hundred polyurethane products with different characteristics. The quality, the duration and the specificity of a session depend first of all on the type of stuffing; polyurethane, with its many variables of density and lifting, it is able to furnish products with specific characteristics “tailor made“ for every necessity. These materials that we introduce here at Soft Design - Pelucchi concludes - they represent a great opportunity for the industrial production world and for the planning and they allow to continually experiment new formalities of application in order to create real innovation.“ Six the expositive areas: semi-finished materials area, basic materials area, products area, testimonial area, consultation area, communication area. In semi-finished materials area Soft Design introduces an ample review of the materials which businesses associated to Poliuretano E' produce: they are polyurethanes with extremely varied characteristics, fruit of great and constant investments in research and development, born for satisfying specific performance demands. These materials represent a great opportunity for the industrial production world and for the planning and they allow to continually experiment new formalities of application to create real innovation. In basic materials area Soft Design also tells the “behind the scenes“ of the expanded polyurethane, through a deep look on the components which are at the base of the material formulation and that they allow to create a vast range of semi-finished products. In products area they are exposed the many possibilities of application of the products in polyurethane that make practically universal these materials, proper for satisfying an endless quantity of functional demands. The testimonial area entertains a series of stories, brief reflections and criticisms on the role of polyurethane in the planning and industrial production, on the way to live with materials and on the different interpretation of the comfort concept: some protagonists of the project, of the industry and of the communication world they propose their personnel point of view. The consultation area is a bridge among different circles, between the world of production and that of research and of planning, while in the communication area it can be found the statements, the images and the details on the principal initiatives.
