Thanks to partnership with leading raw materials suppliers and to collaboration with the Department of Industrial Chemistry and Materials of the University of Bologna, Pelma,  leader company in Italy in the production of polyurethane flexible foam, developed a new polyurethane flexible foam, viscoelastic: SlowEmotion ®.
Slowemotion ®, thanks to its innovative physical-mechanical features, is able to model itself, to adapt to the body, to absorb and distribute the weight gradually, to minimise pressure points and increase breathability in order to get a high level of comfort.
For these features Slow Emotion ® is a viscoelastic polyurethane flexible foam perfect for the realisation of high quality products for the market of Comfort & Bedding (mattresses, pillows, seats and backs).

Slow Emotion ® is also suitable for other applications: for upholstered products for children, mattresses, pillows and cushions, thanks to its breathable properties; for sanitary applications thanks to tested anti bed sores properties; in the upholstered furniture sector, it is suitable both for seating that for backs; it is valid in the production of mattresses for massages and gymnasiums, thanks to antibacterial properties and durability.
The high compression properties combined with the abilities to “shock absorbing“ also make SlowEmotion ® suitable for Packaging and Insulation market.
Slowemotion ® is certified, it respects human-ecological requirements established by the OEKO-TEX ® STANDARD 100 Class I and it may be supplied in different densities (from 35 kg/m3 to 95 kg/m3) and capacity, in Modified Combustion versions or with high Thermal-Hygienic characteristics (ThermoFresh).
Entirely developed on a Pelma system to be unique and hardly reproducible, SlowEmotion ® has being produced continuously and not in the mould, thus achieving an excellent distribution of density of physical-mechanical characteristics.
