Rehau Interior Solutions, a division of the Rehau Group that specializes in supplying components for the furniture industry, presented at Interzum 2025 an update of the Raukantex family of edgings, which are complemented by two new wood-effect and textured variants: Raukantex pigment Wood and Raukantex canvas.

Rehau edging solutions offer manufacturers, woodworkers and interior designers additional possibilities for contemporary furniture design, combining aesthetics and functionality.

Raukantex pigment Wood: wood effect edges

With Raukantex pigment Wood (pictured in the opening photo), Rehau expands its range with a pigmented milling radius edging solution that can faithfully reproduce the unique, warm appearance of wood. Designed to eliminate the frame effect, the new edges reproduce the grain and striations of wood, adding to the versions, already available, for stone and concrete decors. The quality of the new Rehau edge for perfect and extremely impact-resistant finished components was also confirmed by the experts on the jury of the interzum awards 2025, who awarded Raukantex pigment Wood the prestigious award in the “High Product Quality” category.

Raukantex canvas: textured effect edges

Raukantex canvas is the new edgebanding solution from Rehau Interior Solutions that sets innovative standards both aesthetically and tactilely. The edging reproduces the texture that characterizes the worktop or front panel of the cabinet, with extreme attention to detail and without repeating the pattern: this is made possible by the synchronizable texture and 3D effects, which allow for a particularly harmonious visual and tactile effect. This innovation also allows for customized decors, from edge features to special requests such as the reproduction of company logos, without compromising quality and sustainability.
