Conceived and produced by LG Hausys, HI-MACS® is an acrylic natural stone able to assume any shape. It is a material which is open to endless applications on surfaces and coverings and it is a real source of inspiration for designers’ creativeness from all over the world. Just at Fuorisalone in Milan, in a space inside the SuperDesign Show, at Superstudio Più in Tortona street, it will take place the exhibit “Collaboration Elements“ where they will be introduced the projects of Alessandro Mendini and Stefano Giovannoni, but also of Karim Rashid, Marcel Wanders and Ben van Berkel. It deals with their personal interpretations of concepts of 'pattern', 'space' and 'project' which propose their collaborations with LG Hausys, happened in previous years in different way, through a cosmos of colors, forms and, obviously, material. To delineate a chronological run, in search of a fil rouge able to underline the changes of tendencies and styles in previous years, LG Hausys will recreate a 'forest' of columns in HI-MACS®, each of which assigned to one of planners. Around, then, a wrap of mirrors able to reflect the space indefinitely, annulling completely whatever border between concrete and abstract, past and future. DECO Benif, Wallcovering, Flooring, Automotive Leathere, but above all HI-MACS®: five materials for different uses, but which have the ability to contemporarily turn to companies and planners of interiors and of product, as well as to the planning realities of preparations and shopfitting. HI-MACS®, protagonist of LG Hausys spaces of the last years, it will introduce for the occasion Lucia, the new collection 2016 with five colors three of which signed really from the designer Marcel Wanders.
