Multinational group based in Cologne (Germany), igus develops and produces the so-called "motion plastics", i.e. high-performance polymers, lubrication-free, for applications in motion. Also this year igus Italy participates in SICAM, where it will present the wide range of high-performance polymer solutions, designed for the furniture sector. 

The offering includes several product families, including compact and telescopic linear guides, which ensure smooth movements even in applications with minimal space, and cable carrier chains designed for neat and discreet cable management in domestic and work environments. All components are available in various finishes and made from tribologically optimized materials to create durable and functional products that also pay attention to aesthetics.

Compact and telescopic linear guides for smooth movements

Among the novelties in linear guides, igus is presenting at SICAM 2025 the miniaturized drylin W solutions in size 06. Extremely lightweight and lubrication-free, these systems can be installed horizontally, vertically or upside down, fitting perfectly into applications in confined spaces such as motorhome furniture. They are available in different finishes: silver, black, matte and anti-reflective.

Another new product, the new drylin NT-60 telescopic guide, is made of anodized aluminum and equipped with self-lubricating bearings free of PTFE and PFAS. The sliding elements allow the creation of a tested telescopic system that can be continuously extended up to 2 meters. 

Finally, compatible with different types of wood, the drylin econ J4 bearings represent a versatile solution particularly suitable for the furniture industry. They ensure ease of assembly and disassembly, promoting material recycling and responsible disposal.

Among the cable carrier chains, we find the new Office Chain OCO.32.37.0, the discreet and elegant solution for cable management in height-adjustable desks.
