It will develop in Bergamo Fiera, from 12th to 15th April, at the same time with the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Salone del Bagno and Eurocucina, the first edition of IDEA (Innovation Design Expo Area), an event born for conceiving and plaining the future of the compartment of furniture through the collaborative comparison among the great producers of machines for the wood processing, the suppliers of components and the designers. IDEA proposes to analyze the great opportunities introduced by the technological innovation, by the increasing demand of sustainability and by the positive forecasts of the international market. It is expected the presence in Bergamo of designers, architects and operators of furnishing for interiors coming from the whole world. To IDEA, in a sort of backstage of the whole sector, it may be enter into the top of some processes of creation of furniture for better directing its own projects and plans for the future. Among the great names which will bring incentives and novelties of interest to the public of the employees, there is IKEA that will intervene Friday 15th April at 11 a.m. in the room Caravaggio, speaking, in the first one of the two scheduled interventions, about More from Less: light weight board materials namely of the future “light“ of furniture and of furnishing. It deals with a mega trend for IKEA that mostly intends to incorporate the market demand of a more sustainable and smart production. Economy and ecology constitute in fact important objectives for a sustainable approach to the natural resource of the wood. The great Swedish player, that will also intervene to IDEA on Customer in focus: lower emissions in board based furniture, he will be represented by Lars Lindvall and Paul Romano, respectively Engineering and Quality Manager Category Flatline and Global Purchasing Manager of IKEA Sweden. It is also interesting the communication of the Center for the Industrial Studies in Milan: Alessandra Tracogna, Director Country Analysis and Forecast Unit of CSIL, she will illustrate the forecasts of the international market for the current year and 2017. To facilitate the visit in Bergamo, at the disposal of of the visitors a dense network of free shuttles, in departure from the stations of Rho Fiera and Milan Cadorna. It is also already activated the electronic box-office for the free entry to the event.
