Rubinetterie Treemme, a leading company in the field of bathroom furnishings and faucets, to celebrate its fiftieth anniversary promotes the project “Instruments for Water“ in collaboration with IAAD, The Italian University for Design, based in Turin and Bologna.
The aim of this educational project is to involve the students of the 1st Level Academic Diploma course in “Product design“ - academic year 2018/2019, in the creation of some innovative design elements able to revisit the different functions of the bathroom space.
Through various appointments both in the classroom and in the company, Rubinetterie Treemme guides students to discover the production and research system in all its dynamics. Each meeting aims to provide students with the right tools to create a personal project, which will then be evaluated by a jury of experts appointed by the company and the University. The best project, judged by the jury according to objective parameters, will be rewarded with the realization of the prototype which will then be exhibited at the Rubinetterie Treemme stand at the next Cersaie in Bologna.
“The world of design needs young people and young people need those who believe in them,“ said Riccardo Michelangioli, Director of Research and Development, explaining the reasons why the company strongly believes in this project.
The focus on young creatives starts from the history of Rubinetterie Treemme: alongside the founders there are the new generations who have shown such entrepreneurial ability to contribute to the growth of the company, transforming it into what it is today: a renowned and internationally recognized brand on the market.
For Rubinetterie Treemme, this synergic collaboration with a prestigious company like IAAD is an opportunity to give voice to the creativity of young talents who represent the future growth of Made in Italy that is so appreciated worldwide.
