A new proposal in the world of handles for furniture

The Confalonieri Group presented at Interzum an innovative proposal in the world of handles for furniture: Matrix collection designed by Fabio Casiraghi_Paolo Nava design studio.
Matrix collection is proposed as a design concept that is not limited in giving shape to a function, but that tries to define a “matrix“ whose rows and columns combine multiple design elements: function, shape, size, material and materiality, colour and finishing, 2D patterns and 3D textures.
Their combination generates a collection of mutant handles, to say, able to become part of the furniture’s project from the beginning. Not more just decorative elements to be applied to the finished surface of the doors, but part of the whole, handles capable of camouflaging, to coordinate themselves, to counteract, to enrich or surprise, in each case to belong to the same project. An industrial matrix able to generate something personal or individual, whose archetypal forms are complementary to other elements and finishes selected from the standard ones or customizable according to your own tailoring project.
A system dedicated to designers and to the furniture industry, tool and product at the same time.
Matrix is ​​available with the insert of materials such as stone, wood and real concrete (Combi variant). With the Blank variant you can customize Matrix by adding directly the desired material (the same decoration of the door - laminate, essence ... - or other materials – leather...-). Matrix is ​​also available in total concrete.
