The new Cleaf finishes: evocative tactile and visual sensations

Cleaf, a reference company for surfaces and innovative solutions for the furniture and interior design sectors, has recently participated in the Sicam of Pordenone and the two Italian editions of Architect@Work in Rome and Milan.

The company presented its collection of surfaces for furniture and interior design at Sicam, in a booth as always very well designed by Bestetti Associati. The exhibition space was divided by three innovative screens that highlighted the tactile and visual characteristics of the three types of products developed by Cleaf: laminates, edges and faced panels. Along the perimeter of the stand, ten large-sized faced panels underlined the development of the decoration. The Fronda finish, which reproduces the elm wood, is absolutely new, but architects, designers and operators of the sector have also been able to admire the three finishes proposed by Cleaf during the Milano Design Week: Alpaca, which reproduces the silky effect of this natural fibre, which once was taken for the clothing of the Inca emperors; Duna, which shows relief of medium-sized granules reminiscent of sandstone; and finally, Mosaico, a composition of square tesserae that create a textured leather effect.

The news of Cleaf at Architect @ Work

The Mosaico finish was at the centre of Architect@Work Rome and Architect@Work Milan, the successful format dedicated to solutions for architecture and interior design, a formula designed to show innovation and dialogue with architects and designer.

In this case, an evocative setting correlated the composition of the Mosaico finish with the modules of the glass and steel pyramid designed by Ieoh Ming Pei for the entrance of the Louvre Museum in Paris.

The Mosaico finish is available as faced panel, laminate and ABS edge in the beautiful R-Cube, Blue Night, Black, Iris, Lead and Total White shades.

The irregular aspect of the composition of tesserae is given by different levels of depth and width that give the whole a refined movement.
