In a hyper-coloured stand created by Paola Navone, historical art director of the company, Abet Laminati presented at Sicam 2019 the new 2019>2021 Collection that offers unusual textures and innovative finishes. Through the setting up of small sets, Paola Navone imagined, with her usual creative refinement, a fantastic journey through decades and continents.

New colours, new textures, new collaborations: these are the elements that characterize the 2019>2021 Collection that Abet Laminati proposes to architects and designers to simplify the reading of its wide range of products.
The collection presents three new lines that go alongside some already known and appreciated such as Colours, Legni and Rocks. Result of the continuous research on materials and surfaces that has always distinguished Abet Laminati, the new lines are Fabriek, the laminate inspired by the consistency of the fabrics, Metal Effect, the collection that proposes decorations with an iridescent and/or metallic effect and finally Febo, the first collection signed by Ugo Nespolo. This collection proposes 10 decors with bright colors and rich in irony that enhance the technology of digital printing.

SlidingCore, the postformable laminate laminate layer

Another important novelty presented by Abet Laminati in Pordenone is SlidingCore, a postformable layered laminate that is obtained thanks to a production technology able to combine pressing and heat. This technology allows the curvature of Abet Laminati's HPL layered panels.
SlidingCore was created to meet both aesthetic and functional requirements; it is a versatile, compact and durable product, a panel that makes it possible to create projects that also include curved elements.
It is suitable for the construction of bathroom tops, internal frames for French windows, benches and columns. Resistant to impact, wear and solvents, it guarantees sturdiness and hygiene.
SlidingCore is available both flat - in the standard version - and with L or S curvature, in two different sizes. SlidingCore can also be customized: the company can in fact create ad hoc moulds that expand its offer and application uses.
SlidingCore panels can be produced with a double decorative Soft Finish or Six (the historical Abet Laminate finish, matt and pleasant to the touch) and with the interior in Black (BK) or Brown (Standard). Most of the Abet Laminati decors and the entire Polaris collection can be produced with SlidingCore technology.
