Founded in 1981 Assopiuma has institutionally promoted the consumption, the knowledge, the qualification of the natural stuffing in feather, prescribing a precise and rigid Regulation and depositing the distinctive Mark; for a long time a great technical, normative appointment, of communication to guarantee the consumer.
With the objective to offer a total qualitative guarantee, the association introduced the new Assopiuma Textile Zero Leakage, aware that the qualitative guarantee is not only tied to the stuffing material, but to the whole stuffing system, therefore to the covering fabric, too.
Italy, with a centenary tradition, today it remains the first country in the world for the use of feathers in pillows of sofas and armchairs stuffing; for this reason, the attention of Assopiuma turns to the optimization of the cushions and backs of that important component of furnishing which is sofa. A conclusive aspect for a pillow in feather is that it can last in the time without being upset and that it can offer comfort and softness of the feather.
Assopiuma businesses associated found solutions of seam and isolation of the feathers inside the lining which resemble to real masterpieces. They range from the seam realized with very short points to the insertion of the insoles in order to have no moves of big quantities of stuffing in the pillow. Finally they reached the fabric, fundamental element to get a pillow worthy of the high Italian quality. The fabric has in fact the assignment to sensitively balance two variables in contrast between them: it must allow the feather “to breathe“ and at the same time to prevent the leakage. The new Assopiuma Textile, with the best coverage factor, it is able to guarantee the objective of “Zero Leakage“.
The new fabric offers total safety compared to the feather leakage and impossibility to the dust, therefore to the mites contained in it, to penetrate inside the covering.
It is recognizable by the press of the logo Assopiuma completed by the writing “Fuoriuscita Zero”; it has been recorded, as brought on the same label to guarantee to the client Assopiuma the certainty of the authenticity.
