This year Häfele will be returning to the Milanese edition of Architect@Work, to be held as usual at the MiCo, Milano Centro Congressi, on 29 and 30 November. This year’s display will spotlight the newly launched Häfele Connect system and the third generation of the Loox LED lighting system.
Häfele Connect is the new system for the intelligent connection of furniture and rooms. The app, developed by Häfele, which connects light, sound and electrical drives inside the furniture, was presented at Interzum for the first time this year. The basis of this system is represented by the Loox driver for light and sound inside the furniture and the new BLE box. These components, thanks to their Plug & Play function and universal connectivity, allow you to connect all types of furniture with great simplicity. The logical consequence is the Smart Home. The Häfele Connect BLE box allows you to control the functions of the furniture and, ultimately, even those of the room such as opening, illuminating, configuring via the app.
The Häfele Connect BLE box is connected to the Loox driver and wirelessly connected via Bluetooth Low Energy to a smartphone. It is, therefore, possible to control all the electrical components of the furniture. The control interface is the Häfele Connect app for iOS and Android devices.
Today it is possible to activate, deactivate, change the brightness of standard, multi-white and RGB lamps, adjust the colour temperature and the light colour. Lighting scenarios can also be set depending on different occasions, recalling them with the tap of a finger. The system also includes the control of the audio components. With a simple touch, you can control TV lifting devices, electric sliding doors and other electric drives.
The app allows you locate other BLE boxes in the room and integrate them into "My networks" on smartphones and/or tablets. All stored scenarios can be extended or combined in a personalized way. The system, which can be applied at any time on all existing Loox devices, is already available.
Loox is the Häfele brand of LED lighting for furniture. The heart of the system is represented by the drivers, which are versatile and innovative. The compact and flexible design and the proven Plug & Play technology allow the easy integration of LED lighting both in the standard production of furniture and in handcrafted furniture. With Loox, it is possible to design a wide range of solutions and applications simply by installing the different lamps and lighting devices. International certifications also allow the use of any Loox component in practically every part of the world.
The new generation of Loox contains an extension of the range of modular and driver lights, with increased power and reduced heights, switches, LED strips and audio systems integrated into the furniture. Among the highlights, new models of modular LED lamps, structured in a modular way to allow the customer personalized solutions, new lamps with IP44 and IP65 protection for humid environments and a wide range of modular switches (motion or infrared sensors, contact switches and dimmers).
