With the virtual trade fair in mind, igus has set up a 400-square-metre stand at its headquarters in Cologne, where customers can view all the new products “digitally“. On this virtual stand, igus presents over 100 innovations and additions to the motion plastics range, solutions that improve technology and reduce costs. The proposal, which is certainly innovative, was enthusiastically received and received positive feedback from the very first days of its commissioning.

A real stand for a virtual trade fair

In the individual stations, visitors can view some boards and view short clips to learn about motion plastics: from SPE cables designed specifically for cable carrier chains, to telescopic slides made entirely of polymer, to smart plastics solutions. More than 100 motion plastics innovations

In this virtual fair igus presents over 100 motion plastics innovations related to the slogan “Tech up, Cost down. It's our job“. Customers can discover how they can improve their technology and reduce costs thanks to the products offered by igus. An example of this is the new system for autoglive 5 cable carrier chains with rope floor guide. Designed specifically for horizontal runs in the intralogistics and crane sectors, this system saves 88% of assembly time at a very low cost.
Another innovation presented by igus at the stand is the drylin polymer telescopic slide, with which drawers, seats and headrest can be easily adjusted and removed. This innovation is much lighter than metal rail systems.
