Miti, Italian producer of luxury upholstered furnishing, has chosen to insert in his own company the cutting room Lectra’s Versalis®, world leader in the sector of integrated technological solutions for the companies that use fabrics, leather, technical and composite materials. Miti is a Venetian company that melts creativeness, artisanship and innovative design becoming all over the world the producer of stuffed piece of furniture selected as supplier from the high-end marks. The company works side by side with customers to offer them couches, booths and tailored armchairs, characterized by innovative and original elements. Initially Miti planned and assembled internally, while externalized the cut of leather to external suppliers. To maintain high the quality and to contain the costs of production the management of Miti has decided to insert the cut of leather internally. The sophisticated software of Versalis and the cutting precision has allowed the company to maximize the efficiency of the material using more than 70% of a leather for the creation of some models.
