Scm Group, world leader in the sector of machines and industrial components, it will close 2016 with a turnover appraised around 600 million of Euro. Undisputed reference point in the production of machinery for the manufacturing of wood, aluminum, composites, plastics, metal, marble and glass, as in the advanced components, fusions in cast iron, metallic carpentry, electrical panels, “elettromandrini” and technological components, Scm Group has also introduced in 2016 a lot of novelties concerning the human resources, the production and the international presence. "We can say that also 2016 has been a very positive year - Andrea Aureli comments, CEO Scm Group - and the prevision data of closing confirm it. We record a remarkable increase of the turnover and we aim to close 2016 near to 600 million Euro, of which over 400 million in the wood sector. A result that confirms a superior growth than that of the market and the quality of the investments which we have done in different areas of the world and in Italy. without ever losing sight of the two key elements that have allowed us to reach these bright results: innovation and young people."     The innovation has really been one of the pillars of Scm in 2016. A mission that the group has been pursuing all along with great investments in R&S and that this year spawned important initiatives, among which the European project Close to Customer, through which the company has introduced the new concept of "Furniture on Demand". A real revolution for the furnishing sector, that has been able to see a new opportunity of business through a pilot installation, realized by Scm in the month of April inside the Shopping Center Brianza (MI): a real mini-factory able to produce "live" furniture for the clients of the Shopping Center that have been able to order a customized furniture choosing measures and colors through a simple software interface.    Also lots of novelties of product introduced by Scm Group in the different sectors in which it works, they confirm the role of leadership of the company that, through its own technologies, go with the excellence of its customers in the realization of important works for prestigious world brands. The second element that has countersigned the work of Scm Group in 2016 has been the great interest toward young people, which has spawned the campaign of employer branding "We want to be employed by you" launched in October and born with the aim to attract talents from important Universities. Today the group counts 3.300 employees all over the world, in growth of around 200 people during 2016. A particular attention toward the world of young people and the formation that the company has been pursuing all along in all industrial sectors.
