Solutions with both aesthetic, design and ergonomics kept in mind

For the second year in a row, LINAK Danmark A/S has been invited to participate on the Danish LIVINGroom booth at Salone del Mobile in Milan. The Danish manufacturer of linear actuator systems is the only sub supplier on the Danish joint booth, as the other participants are well-known, Danish manufacturers of furniture.
When LINAK, after all, is invited, it is based on the actuator manufacturer being able to show a range of solutions, which all are developed with both aesthetic, design and ergonomics kept in mind.
“We are incredibly proud of being invited on to the exhibition again, and once again, we can show three design collaborations, where we have emphasized great quality and exciting color combinations, which are challenging otherwise well-known elements within interior and office design, says Anne Willemoes, Marketing Manager at LINAK Danmark A/S.
Each of the three solutions are based on closed corporation with the designers and manufacturers behind. One of them is the Danish kitchen manufacturer HTH, who is optimistic about their participation on the fair.
“We are looking forward to the exhibition in Milan, where we once again can present exciting, innovative kitchen solutions together with LINAK. We had an incredible response on the pieces we showed at the fair in 2015. I am sure that our collaboration in the future will lead to even more products to the consumers, who want smart and functional kitchen solutions incorporated in their everyday lives, says Michael Oversø, Sales Manager at HTH Køkkener A/S.
Beside the kitchen, LINAK is also bringing a desk, designed by the Danish architect Tine Mouritsen. The challenge for her was to design four tables, which took inspiration from the thoughts behind New Ways of Working into consideration. The desk shown at the exhibition is therefore mounted with a pillow intended for a powernap. It means a lot to Tine Mouritsen, who also is the mind behind the joint booth that one of her own designs is brought to the booth.    “It has been exciting for me to incorporate the thoughts of New Ways of Working, and what we need in the future work situations, into the design of the desk. It is always fantastic to be challenged, especially by LINAK, to think in new ways of using movement. Furthermore, it is just fantastic to see one of my own designs exhibited on the booth, I have been working on through a long period of time, says the Danish architect.
The last solution, shown by LINAK, is a cradle, where the bottom is height adjustable. The cradle is designed by Tobias Freddie and Mathias Gammelby, as part of a design competition at the Copenhagen School of Design & Technology, held by LINAK in 2013. Afterwards, the cradle has been shown on Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2014. It is a prototype manufactured by a Danish cabinetmaker.
