The June Forecast Note for the furniture sector in Italy, prepared by Csil, is available once again this year, as an anticipation of the new edition of the Forecast Report on the Furniture Sector in Italy, 2022-24.
The Note, about 20 pages long, contains final figures for 2020 and forecasts for 2021-2023 for the furniture sector as a whole in terms of production, consumption, imports and exports; final figures for 2020 and forecasts for 2021-2023 for the 4 sectors (upholstered furniture, kitchen, office, other household furniture) in terms of production, consumption, imports and exports; and finally, foreign trade figures for the furniture aggregate 2015-2020 by trade partner, updated with data available at the beginning of June.

The first data while waiting for the Csil Report in November

After a brief general overview of the Italian and international economies and the effects of the pandemic, the Report takes an in-depth look at the furniture sector, providing information on general production trends, the Italian and foreign markets, Italian furniture exports, foreign demand for Italian furniture, Italian furniture imports and the degree of openness of the sector.
Inside the Report, to be released as usual in November, it will then be possible to find an updated and more detailed picture of the furniture sector in Italy to 2021 and its prospects to 2024.
