On 23 October the State Secretary of the Ministry of Education Gabriele Toccafondi has visited Educational Pole of Wooden Furniture in Lentate sul Seveso. The meeting has been the opportunity to compare the State Secretary and the students of the Pole and a meaningful representation of local companies. “ Work is learned by staying inside the companies. You learn by doing. This is the bet and at the same time the great strength of our ITS, Gabriele Toccafondi affirmed. When school and job talk, there is a true contamination, and the results are: the enthusiasm of young people, the desire to make school, the position of the entrepreneurs who speak of their interns as if they were already their employees. We are working because close to the knowledge, it can grow the know how to do.“ Near the Pole of Lentate it is possible to enroll in the path of Superior Technician, a training arrangement professional formation that is showing an elevated effectiveness in the working integration of young people. In this regard the State Secretary  announced the choice of the Ministry to favoring the institutes that are able to offer greater effectiveness of intervention: “no more windfall funds, for this year 30% of the national and regional resources intended for the ITS it will be given on  reward proportion.“ Other important matter addressed at the visit, it is the apprenticeship. From November, only case in Italy, a whole class of students of this basic form of training of the Pole of Lentate it will be inserted for one year in apprenticeship of first level inside some important local companies. The State Secretary Toccafondi has declared that the companies that will accept the challenge of the first level apprenticeship for the obtainment of the professional qualification they will enjoy of an important tax exemption.
