Three important design awards have been assigned to three Elica products/news: the prestigious Red Dot Design Award to the innovative Rules and Super Plat stove hoods, while the NikolaTesla Fit cooker hob with integrated suction won the Plus X Award and the A' Design Award.
These international recognitions reward the continuous search for innovation, creativity and design that have always characterized the company and are a source of pride for Elica and for Fabrizio Crisà, Design Center Director of Elica, who comments on the results of his incessant work: “In 2004 the first award, in 2007 the first Red Dot Award. Today, after 16 years of work at Elica, there are more than 140 international design awards won by the products I have designed, including the Compasso d'Oro, with one award and three Honorable Mentions, but still, the emotion you feel is great. Each award given to the products is a victory for all the people who believed in them and worked on them with passion. On a personal level, knowing that juries of designers, architects and experts in the field have declared a product I designed worthy of an award, fills me with satisfaction and stimulates me to do my best“.

The Rules and Super Plat hoods: innovation and formal beauty

The Rules and Super Plat stove hoods have been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for 2021, one of the most important design prizes, which has acknowledged to the two Elica hoods those characteristics of innovation and formal beauty necessary to be judged winners and to be exhibited in the Zollverein museum in Essen, Germany.
The Rules hood has a great ability to integrate with the environment thanks to the adjustable depth from 21cm to 36cm that allows a perfect alignment with the wall units.  Maximum versatility instead in case of stand alone installation. In the Naked version, the Rules hood can be customized thanks to the front panel in the same finish as the wall unit.
The Super Plat hood is a true furnishing solution designed to integrate perfectly with the style of contemporary homes. Its compact shape and elegant finishes respond to customers' requests for customization, also providing them with an immediate and intuitive “technological“ interface.

NikolaTesla Fit: a cooktop with integrated aspiration

Designed to fit into the most compact contemporary spaces thanks to its 60 cm footprint, the new NikolaTesla Fit cooktop with integrated suction wins the Plus X Award, already assigned to the entire NikolaTesla collection, for its innovative technology, design and intuitive and immediate use. The newcomer to the range also wins the A'Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category. The Plus X Award, with its independent international jury made up of delegates from over 80 industries, 23 strategic partners and more than 700 international brands, is considered the world's largest innovation award for technology, sports and lifestyle.
These are important recognitions for Elica's latest products, in addition to the Iconic Design Award, the IF Design Award, the IDA International Design Award and the Archiproducts Design Award won by these three products in 2021.
