A versatile material with high performances

HI-MACS®, the solid surface of new generation produced by LG Hausys, has contributed to the realization of the new version of the kitchen “Artika“ of Pedini, which has been introduced in these days at immCologne 2017.    
The concept of Artika is simple, but effective: curved plains and without handles, sinks and integrated fires, peninsula snack plain, an ergonomic kitchen/living environment and customized for the chef, with stable and reassuring forms. The finishing HI-MACS® Babylon Beige selected for the top of Artika, also retaken by the lacquering of the vertical surfaces, it has wisely approached to wood elements able to emphasize the sensation of heat and to make it almost tactile, concrete.   
HI-MACS®, thermo-formable, has been revealed a material ideal for the realization of the fluid forms of the top, worked by FG Arredi srl. The possibility to work it, to eliminate the signs of junction, has in fact allowed to create a continuous element in appearance carved by an only block of material.
Composed in different percentages of minerals, acrylic materials and natural pigments, HI-MACS® is a material of high quality perfect to make contact with food, because deprived of pores on its surface that allows the accumulation of grime and bacteria. Hygienic and easy to clean, HI-MACS® is very resistant to scratches, to stains, to damp and fire. Available in around 100 variations of color, uniform and not, HI-MACS® is warm and velvety texture.
