Ostermann, the edgings specialist, is now making all matching edgings from the new Egger Decori 24+ collection, launched on the market at the beginning of February, available to furniture manufacturers, joiners and craftsmen.

The panels in this new collection are characterised by sober, elegant wood decors, delicate, matt solid colours and reproductions of classic materials with particularly realistic finishes. Of course, numerous PerfectSense lacquered panels with wood decors and solid colours are also available. All decors can be harmoniously combined with each other to create products that will continue to please over time.

Matching edges for every need

Ready to respond to the needs of carpenters and craftsmen, Ostermann immediately started to select matching edgings and is thus able to supply all matching edgings for the solid colours and decors of the new Egger collection within 24 hours. These are available in the standard sizes of 23, 33, 43 and 100 x 1 and 2 mm and are supplied as usual from 1 metre length. On request, all 100 mm wide ABS edgings can be cut to a customised width. Companies working with zero-joint technology can request edges prepared for Laser, Airtec or Infratec application with a functional TPU layer. All variants are also available with a layer of hot-melt glue for processing with hot-air edgebanding machines.

Elegant wood decors

The Egger collections have always been characterised by numerous classic wood décors, of which oak continues to be a favourite. Many dark decors contribute to a discreet and refined interior atmosphere. The surfaces of the Feelwood line are also particularly noteworthy; their exclusive, high-quality look is based on an extremely pleasant feel.

Matt and satin solid colours

As far as solid colours are concerned, there is a great variety of trendy neutral colours, from white to beige, from grey to satin black. Green, another popular colour, also has a place of honour within the range, often accompanied by different shades of blue that go well with most wood decors. The brighter colours also retain their sobriety. Ostermann edgings are available in the same colours and finishes.

A focus on the tactility of the surface finish

Compared to wood and solid colours, the selection of fabric, stone and metal effect decors is relatively small. Materials such as linen, iron or marble are represented by a modern and timeless design while the stone effect decors have slightly metallic accents. In the production of the matching edgings, Ostermann has paid particular attention to the right tactile appearance of the surface finish, so that panels and edgings seem to have come out of the same mould.
